Facebook has a way of temporarily stirring up commotion throughout its community only a few times per year. First it was primarily changing the layout of personal profile pages, forcing users to adjust and conform to a new way of viewing a profile. Yes, change is good… when done in moderation. Facebook has done it this time, taking the redesign to a new level. Fan pages and company profiles are now being targeted for this redesign. For now, this new layout seems to be optional; just like all prior Facebook layout changes. But on March 1st, this becomes a permanent change.
Switch now, learn and love the new layout, so that on March 1st, business for you continues without any bumps in the road.
From the perspective of an avid Facebook user, as well as company owner, this new layout design is a little unsettling. It does integrate some key abilities for companies to add more personality to their pages, in moderation and limited form of course.
